The Pioneer DJ DDJ-XP2 is a versatile sub-controller designed to enhance DJ performances using both rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro software. It features 32 ultra-low latency, multi-colored performance pads, allowing for dynamic triggering of Hot Cues, Samples, and more. One of its standout features is the 16-pad mode, enabling DJs to assign two different functions to each deck, such as Hot Cues and Sampler, without the need to switch modes. Additionally, the Transport Mode provides control over playback functions like play, pause, cue, and pitch adjustments directly from the pads. The DDJ-XP2 also includes Slide FX touch strips for expressive effect manipulation and Silent Cue for cueing tracks silently with open faders.
