The Pioneer PLX-1000 is a professional-grade direct-drive turntable designed for DJs and audiophiles alike. It features a high-torque 3-phase brushless DC motor, ensuring stable rotation and exceptional control. The turntable reaches 33⅓ rpm in just 0.3 seconds, thanks to a starting torque of 4.5kg/cm or more . Its aluminum die-cast platter (332 mm diameter) provides durability and smooth playback. The tonearm is a universal S-shape, gimbal-supported type with a static balance structure, designed for precise tracking and minimal distortion. The PLX-1000 also boasts a signal-to-noise ratio of 70 dB and a wow and flutter rate of 0.1% or less WRMS (JIS WTD), ensuring high-fidelity sound reproduction.
