DJayGEAR DJay Power Switch

The DJay Power Switch by DJayGEAR guarantees maximum protection of the power supply to the DJ booth.

The Power Switch serves as a bridge between the power distro and the DJ booth. It reduces the risk of power failure of the DJ Booth by managing multiple current sources. At the front, two CEE adapters must be connected. When one source malfunctions, the amp switches from input A to input B instantly. Thereon the build-on (and extended when connected) warning light starts flashing: a visable sign for the stagemanger and crew to get support a.s.a.p.

Worst-case scenario: there’s a power failure and the whole show stops. When input A and B stop supplying power the UPS takes over. Depending on its battery and the amount needed, it can foresee the DJ booth with power for approximately fifteen minutes. This helps the DJ to keep the music and settings stand by. When power is back on, the music can start immediately.
